Your Butler ID is your library card. Community members may register for a library card with valid Kansas Driver‘s license or ID. You may check out a total of 10 items at a time, with a maximum of 5 DVDs and 1 Video game in the total. If you would like materials from the Andover campus, let a librarian know and it can be brought over by the next day.

All Library materials can be returned to either the Andover 5000 Library or the LW Nixon Library in El Dorado. In Andover, you can return materials to the front desk or you can drop them off in the Book Drop located outside the Andover 5000 Library, room 5012.
The patron is responsible for lost or damaged items. The patron will be responsible for the price of the book, plus a $10.00 processing fee for each item. Holds may be put on the student’s account for overdue books.
Per AFI 34-262, military members and their families, military retirees and their family members, Department of Defense (DoD) civilians (both APF and NAF) and their family members, and DoD contractor personnel working on the instillation may use the base library.
Per AFI 34-270 1.5.1, Non-Department of Defense (DoD) personnel enrolled in an Air Force or DoD sponsored education program may use Library Services when required by a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and when showing proof of current enrollment.
