Articles & Databases
Library Catalogs

Interlibrary Loan and the check-out of physical resources are NOT currently available due to the closure of the library – and many of our peer libraries. This may change and we will update this link if it does.

Research Help

Librarians and staff are available by email ( or chat to answer research questions or to provide help with using online resources.

  • Chat services will be available Monday – Thursday from 8 am to 9 pm and Fridays from 8 am to 5 pm. For general questions, use our Ask A Librarian service
  • Research questions can also be answered via Zoom during Virtual Office Hours from 9 am to 7 pm Monday-Thursday and 9 am to 5 pm Friday. Visit the Library tab in Pipeline to access our Virtual Office Hours.

Research Guides are also available. These guides are divided by subject and can help you navigate the best ways to find articles and research related to your class.

Teaching and Instruction

Librarians will continue to provide teaching support by collaborating with instructors. We feel it is especially important during this time of change that instructors encourage their students to reach out to the Libraries for research help. The Libraries also offer online instruction modules. To learn more about these services visit our Library Instruction webpage.

Meanwhile, help for faculty is also available from Butler online at Keep Teaching @ Butler.
