Summer Reading Bucket List Sheets

📖 New reading challenge just dropped! 📖

For the summer we will be doing a Summer Reading Bucket List. For this reading challenge we will not be doing a raffle. Instead, anyone that completes a bucket will be able to grab from our candy/trinket bowl. Anyone can join anytime from June 2nd until July 11.

How to play:
⭐ Grab a Reading Challenge sheet from the AND or ELD Library front desk (or print your own from our Reading Challenge LibGuide).

⭐ Assign yourself 3 big reading or educational goals that you want to accomplish this summer and list your goals on the spaces on the bucket. You can fill more than one bucket.

⭐Write down what you did to complete your goal and the date you completed them. Then bring your completed bucket back to the AND or ELD Library to grab from our candy prize bowl.

Remember: You must complete a full bucket (3 challenges) before you can grab from the prize bowl.

Welcome! This is the new blog for the Library Reading Challenges!

If you didn't know, each semester the Butler Community College Library has reading challenge game to encourage reading and reading outside of your comfort zone. For the Fall and Spring reading challenges there is a raffle at the end of the semester. Since the summer is shorter, for the summer reading challenge each person that completes it can grab from out candy/toy bowl. The reading challenges are open to everyone and you can join anytime.

On this blog we will post updates on our reading challenges and any other related content like recommendations or reviews. We created this blog so that our participants would have a place to discuss with and encourage each other, so we hope to see your comments on here throughout the semester!
