Reading Fundamentals (EG 060)

While I try to avoid World War II books because I dislike weeping, this was a really good book. This is a story about two women who become friends during the war and play a part in the war efforts. It definitely made me question if I would be strong enough to do some of the things these girls are forced to do. -- Teresa

If you like the English comedic style, combined with the stately homes and class of Downton Abby, this book is for you. Have you ever read The Island of Dr. Moreau by H.G. Wells? Me neither. But, I did read this fun little book based on the classic novel. After the insane Dr. Moreau is run out of town and living on a secluded island, life is tough for the daughter he left behind.
