5.1 Finding Topic for Research

There are several databases that will you find a topic or even help you narrow your topic:

The first two are good for informative essays were you are trying to convey basic information on a topic. The last two are good for persuasive papers when you are developing an argument.

Research is a recursive process meaning that you may have go back and change something as you research. Picking a topic and narrowing is part of that process. Some would say the most important part!
