General Guidelines and Tips to Complete the Assignment
- Creating an outline is the most important part of the paper. If you do not have an outline, you will not pass the course.
- Check in with Mr. Tymony regularly, and bring a copy of your outline or paper to get the most out of your office visit.
- Your paper should be at least five pages long (excluding the cover page and Reference page).
- Your paper must be in APA format (12 point font, 1-inch margins, Times New Roman, no spacing between paragraphs and headings).
- At least six scholarly sources are required and excludes class books, encyclopedias, dictionaries, comic books, and other non-scholarly sources in class.
- Paraphrasing is preferred over direct quotations. Use block quotations sparingly.
