Patrons can reserve one-hour blocks up to three hours per day.
Patrons can reserve the podcast studio by visiting the L.W. Nixon Library front desk or reserving directly by emailing librarypodcaststudio@butlercc.edu with your name and time of reservation(s).
Reservations are not required to use the podcast studio.
You must have a valid Butler ID and password to access the equipment and software.
Patrons must check in at the circulation desk before using the podcast studio.
Patrons with reservations who arrive later than twenty minutes will lose their one-hour reservation.
The podcast studio is available during regular library hours.
Your reservation time includes setup and clean up. All trash, paper, and other personal items are to be removed from the podcast studio after use.
Sound levels must be kept within reasonable limits. If patrons in the podcast studio are too disruptive, then they will be asked to work at a lower volume.
No food is allowed in the podcast studio. Water in covered containers is permitted.
You may not alter, change, or unplug any of the equipment in the podcast studio. Charges will be assessed to patrons if damage, theft, or misuse occurs.
All library code of conduct rules apply in the podcast studio.
All audio and personal files will be deleted at the end of each business day. We recommend saving your work to a personal device, such as OneDrive or other cloud software, USB drive, SD card, or external hard drive.
