Quick Answers
May I bring my class in for library instruction?
Reference libriarans are available to provide library instruction at any Butler campus. Instruction sessions may be subject-specific or geared toward Internet searching and evaluation, citation creations, or general database search techniques. The library instruction tab in this guide will provide you with more information.
Can I place materials on reserve?
Full time and adjunct faculty can place books or DVDs from the library's general circulating collection and other course-related materials(including personal copies) on reserve for student use. To learn more about reserves, click on the Interlibrary Loan/Reserves tab in this guide.
How do I request a purchase of materials to add to the library collection?
The Butler Libraries encourage full time and adjunct faculty to participate in developing a robust and viable library collection. Fill out and submit the Item Request Form to suggest purchases to our Director, Micaela Ayers.
What do I need to login to use the online resources of the library?
You need your Pipeline username and password.
What do I need to check out materials from the library?
You need your Facutly ID.
