Interlibrary Loan Policies & Procedures
Students, faculty and community members may easily obtain resources from other libraries. You can check the Kansas Library Catalog for holdings from libraries across Kansas, or simply fill out the form with the information you have. Fill out one form for each request. You may send a request through the Interlibrary Loan Request Form below - please monitor your email for a response.

⋅ Time Required
Most interlibrary loans take between 5 to 10 days. We participate in the Kansas Library courier service, which sometimes speeds delivery, but if an item is checked out in the home library it may take longer. Please keep this in mind when making your request.
The Interlibrary Loan staff notifies borrowers by phone or e-mail when their requests have been received. To check the status of your request:
⋅ Picking Up Materials
Pick up borrowed materials at the circulation desk. Please bring your student ID or community member card.
⋅ Returning and Renewing
Return borrowed materials to the circulation desk. Many lending libraries will not make interlibrary loan renewals; if so, we cannot accept requests for renewals. Failure to return material by the due date will suspend future ILL borrowing privileges.
⋅ Financial Responsibility
Lost materials, damaged materials, and overdue fines are the responsibility of the borrower.
