Textbooks and Course Reserves

How do I buy a course textbook or access code for my class?

The Library does not sell textbooks (we sell coffee and treats at the Library Latte!). To purchase required materials for your classes, visit Butler's Bookstore website and select "Textbook Lookup" to find the items you will need to purchase per class. If you have additional questions about purchasing course materials, please call the bookstore at 316-322-3197.

Does the library purchase course textbooks?

The library does not purchase textbooks. However, sometimes an instructor purchases a copy or adds supplemental material to the "course reserves."

What are course reserves?

Course reserves are items made available through the library by instructors or departments. These items are available for use in the library only and may not be taken home.
